How to Recover You iPod's lost music and photos

Many of us value what we own, including all music or photos that we consider as meaningful. However, sometimes these important data can get deleted accidentally. Like the data on iPod, they can be lost due to any virus infection or in the event of formatted iPod. We quite understand how bad it feels to lose all these valuable data, thus we want to share an easy way to recover those lost music and photos on your iPod. Simply follow this guide:

Firstly, Download iPod Data Recovery Software and then install it.

When you run it, you will find that there are two ways of searching (scanning). One is standard mode and the other is advanced mode.

1. Standard search
This searching criteria is used in case of files folders deletion or data loss due to any virus infection.

2. Advanced search
This option is used to recover data from formatted iPod or any other data recovery which is not possible on standard search.


Before Scanning

Select the iPod from left panel from where you want to recover data.

Select the iPod drive from left panel for data recovery.

Select searching criteria (Standard / Advanced) and press next button to proceed.

Press next button to start recovery.

After Scanning

Select files and folders from left panel directories tree or the right side panel.

Click on save button in toolbar to save recovered files and folders.

Part 1: Standard search.

Steps followed in standard search data recovery

Click the Data Doctor Recovery iPod desktop icon (or select from the Windows programs list) to activate the software.

Select the iPod from left panel and check the standard search Click on the next button. Window is displayed as:

Select the partition type for data recovery from left panel. Window is displayed as:

Click the next button for iPod scanning.

After scanning is completed the recovered data/music files is viewed in the left panel.

Select and save the data from left panel or right panel using right click or save the data from the Tool bar.

After clicking on save button the following screen appears:

Select the location to save the recovered data.

Note: In some cases iPod data is not recovered with the standard search.So it is recommended to use the advance search mode for the data recovery.

Part 2: Advanced search

Steps followed in advanced search data recovery

Click the Data Doctor Recovery iPod desktop icon (or select from the Windows programs list) to activate the product.

Select the iPod from left panel and check the advanced Search Click on the next button. Window is displayed as:

Select the partition type for data recovery from left panel. The window is displayed as below

Click the next button for iPod scanning

Select the file system from left panel for the data recovery and click next button

After scanning is completed the recovered data is viewed on the left panel as follows:

Select and save the data from left panel using right panel on right click or save the data from the Tool bar as follows:

After clicking on save button the following screen appears:

Select the location to save the recovered data.
